For a special intention

St Toribio Romo, patron of migrants

1 candle lit

St Toribio Romo was a young Mexican priest killed in 1928, during the persecution of the Church in Mexico. Migrants crossing the desert tell of a young priest who appeared to give them water and show them the way. He was canonized in 2000 and is the patron of migrants. He is honored with the martyrs of Mexico on May 21. Light a candle for everyone on the road far from home. St Toribio Romo, pray for us.
