For a special intention

St Thorlak, patron of Iceland

1 candle lit

St Thorlak Thorhallsson was bishop of Skálholt in Iceland and died on December 23, 1193. In 1984 Pope John Paul II confirmed him as a saint and named him patron of Iceland, where his feast, December 23, is still called Thorlak's Mass. Many autistic people and their families turn to him today. With the ministry Autism Consecrated, we pray "for Saint Thorlak's prayers and intercession for the autistic people in our Church communities." Light a free candle with us. St Thorlak, pray for us.
