For a special intention

St Patrick, apostle of Ireland

1 candle lit

Patrick was taken from Britain as a teenager and held as a slave in Ireland. He escaped, became a priest, and went back to the people who had enslaved him to bring them the faith. He is the patron of Ireland and of the Irish everywhere. His feast is March 17. Light a candle for Ireland, or for your Irish family. St Patrick, pray for us.
