St Martin of Tours

1 candle lit

St Martin was a Roman soldier who cut his cloak in two to share it with a freezing beggar. He became a monk and then bishop of Tours. In Germany and the Netherlands children carry lanterns through the streets on his feast, November 11. Light a candle for everyone who is cold tonight. St Martin, pray for us.
