For a special intention

St Juan Diego of Guadalupe

1 candle lit

St Juan Diego was the Indigenous man to whom Our Lady appeared on the hill of Tepeyac in 1531, and whose cloak still carries her image. He was canonized in 2002, the first Indigenous saint of the Americas. His feast is December 9. Light a candle and bring him your intention, as he brought hers to the bishop. St Juan Diego, pray for us.
