St Gianna Beretta Molla

1 candle lit

Gianna Beretta Molla was an Italian doctor, a wife and a mother. Pregnant with her fourth child, she refused a treatment that would have ended her baby's life, and died a week after her daughter was born, in 1962. She was canonized in 2004 and is a patron of mothers, doctors and unborn children. Her feast is April 28. Light a candle for mothers. St Gianna, pray for us.
