St George

1 candle lit

St George was a soldier who died a martyr in the early fourth century, and the story of the dragon made him a symbol of courage against evil. He is the patron of England, Georgia, Ethiopia and many other lands. His feast is April 23. Light a candle for courage, and for soldiers. St George, pray for us.
