Our Lady of Charity of El Cobre

1 candle lit

Around 1612 two Indigenous brothers and an African boy, remembered as the three Juans, found a statue of Mary floating in the Bay of Nipe after a storm. She is the patroness of Cuba, loved by Cubans at home and abroad. Her feast is September 8. Light a candle for Cuba and for families kept apart. Our Lady of Charity, pray for us.
